With this First-Timer Beginner Surf Experience, you’ll receive personalized guidance from a professional surf instructor, who will teach you the essential techniques to pop up, balance, and ride waves confidently and safely. You’ll use a sturdy 9-foot (3-meter) longboard, designed to provide stability and help you catch waves with ease, giving you the best possible start to your surfing adventure.

To make your experience even more memorable, a personal photographer will be on hand to capture your best moments on the water, both in photos and videos, so you can relive your first ride anytime. Whether it’s your first time on a surfboard or you’re looking to improve your basic skills, this experience is tailored to ensure you have fun, stay safe, and create lasting memories.

        Welcome to Ulap Surf! We keep it simple, structured, and solid. Just real surf, real progress, and real people guiding you.  Meet the team.
Sign the waiver.
Briefing on what’s included.
Settle the payment.
Then we get to it. We’ll show you the surf area, teach you how the ocean moves, and go over safety, 10 minutes, straight to the point. Next, we warm up on the beach. You’ll learn how to pop up, where to place your feet, and how to find your balance before paddling out. Then 90 minutes in the water. Your instructor’s right there, coaching every wave.  You’ll know what you’re doing and why. After the surf, we review your footage. We break down what needs to change, what worked, and what’s next. This is where things start to click. You see progress. You feel it. Every lesson builds confidence. Before you know it, you're not just riding waves, you're reading them, flowing with them. This is Ulap Surf. We don’t just teach. We build surfers.

        • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
        • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
